The book is written in two distinct halves.

The first half of the book reflects my life growing up in the military & being part of a military family. The book is also steeped in and encompasses the work I do with Veterans. I have been privileged to have been part of some of their journeys.

To those that have allowed me to put the story into poetry. I commend you and thank you for letting me go on your journey with you. I hope that some of you have found the message you intended to deliver through these works. And I hope that by telling me your story that it has unburdened some of the burdens you carry. Thank you for your sacrifice & service.

The second half of the book reflects my journey professionally. I am always humbled to be part of other people journeys. Here I attempt to give a voice to the people who sometimes are unheard. Thank you for letting me be part of your journey. 

There are ten poems in the book and here I have explained three of them for you just click on the sub tabs. Here I outline the reasons why they were wrote and what inspired them. That same inspiration is valid for all.

I will add more as time goes on & give an explanation for them all.
